This book aims to give enough knowledge for the average boat owner to effect repairs to the hull and superstructure of a glass-fibre boat, now an increasingly universal boat form. It also contains details on the care of the engine and the plumbing system. Repair techniques are described for most of the common problems from simple scuffs to large holes, and tools, equipment and the safety aspects of the work are all outlined. Other topics cover: osmosis - what it is and how it can be cured, painting, corrosion and buying a second-hand glass-fibre boat.
