The second volume of reports from the Caesarea Ancient Harbour Excavation Project 1980-85 catalogues and analyzes the finds recovered in this period, and the First century AD Roman ship excavated close to shore north of the city. To combat the problems of post-depositional sorting in a coastal underwater context seven closed deposits are presented separately from the typological artefact catalogues. Full discussions of artefact classes and provenance are included.
