Marx relates his experiences searching for treasure and describes ancient and modern underwater techniques used in the search for sunken riches. Over a hundred photos from seventy shipwrecks are presented in a blend of history and archaeology which uses underwater archaeologist Marx's findings to probe deep-sea riches. In The Search for Sunken Treasure more than 100 photographs of treasure from 70 shipwrecks are complemented by historical etchings and paintings of the ships before they sank.
