David Finner first entered the undersea world in 1962 at the age of 12 and soon began exploring its depths for shipwrecks and treasures. In addition to treasure hunting and wreck diving, he has invented and patented underwater equipment, has been a principal and diving supervisor on both underwater salvage and mining endeavors, and has served in numerous positions including President of California Wreck Divers, Inc., one of the oldest, nonprofit organizations devoted to shipwreck research and exploration. Finner has published over 100 stories on underwater exploration in magazines such as Skin Diver, Silver and Gold Annual, Treasure Diver, Underwater USA and Wreck Diver and is a Contributing Editor for Western and Easter Treasures magazine. His work has been translated into more than 40 languages and published in over 60 countries.
